About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

WWUTT Wednesday - Papal Perfection Pettifoggery

As we come closer and closer to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation we have to keep in mind one of the main driving causes of the Reformation; the Vicar of Jesus Christ, the Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, the Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, the Primate of Italy, the Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province, the Sovereign of the State of Vatican City, the Servant of the Servants of God.

We know him as Mr. Pope, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church and a member of the self styled "unbroken succession" of Bishops (ignoring instances of popes being involuntarily deposed and instances of contention over the papacy by two or even three popes simultaneously, accompanied by multiple colleges of cardinals and bishoprics) seated in the "Chair of Peter" to rule over people who should instead be ruled over by God. The only history of Peter being in Rome was a letter written over 120 years after his death yet this church claims to be founded by Peter in Rome. How do we know that's true? Because Mr. Pope says it is.

  1. My article on this subject PROVES the pope is not even Christian, let alone a representative of God and perfect when speaking ex cathedra. https://watchmansbagpipes.blogspot.com/2010/06/papacy-infallibility-and-magisterium.html

    1. That is a great article Glenn. The current Mr. Pope's recent revelations, like when he said that there is salvation for the devout atheist, fall right in line with the nonsense of the RCC of a millenia ago.

Your article invited me to do a little research on John X mostly because of the mention of Theodora - I was positive that she had died three or four centuries before John X and I was right, but I was thinking of Empress Theodora who reigned the Roman Empire (with Emperor Justinian) from the glory of Constantinople while bishops in the moldering remains of the Ostrogoth slum of the city of Rome decided they were in charge of the church.

This Theodora and her daughters Theodora (junior) and Marozia where "noble"women who involved themselves in the politics of the RCC by sleeping with and giving birth to Popes while the 700 year old remains of the long abandoned capitol city collapsed around them. Historian Edward Gibbon (author of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire) wrote:

"influence of two sister prostitutes, Marozia and Theodora was founded on their wealth and beauty, their political and amorous intrigues: the most strenuous of their lovers were rewarded with the Roman tiara, and their reign may have suggested to darker ages the fable of a female pope. The bastard son, two grandsons, two great grandsons, and one great great grandson of Marozia—a rare genealogy—were seated in the Chair of St. Peter."

From this description, the term "pornocracy" has become associated with the effective rule in Rome of Theodora and her daughters Marozia and Theodora (junior) through their male... surrogates. The story of Marozia and her progeny proves that the papistry is far from the ideals of Jesus.

And how could an office blessed by God generate something like a Antipope, antipopes have been with us since 235 AD. And let's forget about sedevacantists which claim tha there hasn't been a real pope since 1958.

    2. Oh, those sisters were certainly proof against the papacy but no one listened.
