About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

"I walk through this sinful world as a
pilgrim in a foreign country" - CH Spurgeon
I normally do not post links to articles in the WND because it has gotten weird lately, but in this case I will make an exception - (Start the Rod Serling "Twilight Zone" voice):

Submitted for your inspection a world where up is down, right is wrong, and where gender is assigned not by physiology but by whim of popular culture. A world where feelings have priority over rational thought and where children raise their parents. This is a Halloween haunted house for you, a trip through the truth-free “LGBT” parallel universe, hold on to your lunch as we enter The Liberal Zone.

If you've been following my blog this week you know that I've been making biblical arguments against the participation in pagan Halloween revelry. If you are a Christian and avoid Halloween, you're sadly in the minority

But if biblical argument didn't convince you, maybe the Obama Administration's suggestions on how to participate in Halloween will sour your stomach on the whole idea.

If you didn't realize that we are seeing the Great Falling Away you haven't been paying attention. Leading the plunge into the depths, of course, is the UCC who this month celebrated their 5th Annual Drag Queen Gospel Festival.  No this isn't a satire, and if you don't know what a Drag Queen is, I apologize for ruining your day.

I would love to have a sit down chat with the 7th grade teacher who forced her kids to deny God or receive a failing grade.

Mr. Pope gets it wrong again - can you spot his error?

Disgusting

Paganism, the 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions, and the Power of Mom.

Religion of Peace Update #1 - Islamic Mob locks a Christian family in their house and set the house on fire. Pray for our brothers and sisters in tribulation.

Religion of Peace update #2 - ISIS instructs their minions that if a woman is raped 10 times she will become a Muslim... and it gets worse. Much worse.

Religion of Peace Update #3 - ISIS madmen tied three of their foes to ancient Roman pillars in the city of Palmyra and blew up the pillars killing the men instantly and destroying two millenia of history

Religion of Peace Update #4 - ISIS madmen forced a captured Syrian soldier to stand in the middle of the road and crushed him beneath the treads of a captured tank

Religion of Peace Update #5 - A liberal academic spouting a mantra of "Coexist" is stabbed to death by Muslim terrorist. The Islamic version of coexistence is always forced submission or murder

Donut Church - Light. Fluffy. Sugar Coated.

Maybe this is why the Bible contains 1 Timothy 2:11-15, 1 Corinthians 14:34-35,

If you missed Dr. Ben Carson's response to a clearly biased question intended to shame him based on his views on gay marriage, you missed a beautiful response that should be given to our detractors every time they bring the subject up.

November 1 is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church - last year was the worst year for persecuted Christians in contemporary history, with notable increases in the number of reported beatings, rapes, kidnappings, and killings. Unfortunately, the situation appears to have worsened in 2015. Even Christian-majority countries are seeing increases in discrimination, exclusion, and violence.
And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. (1 Corinthians 12:26)

  1. In the halloween survey (link posted above), 44% of people who attend church at least once per week agreed, "Halloween is all in good fun".

No wonder it's so hard for some of us to find a good church.
