Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

Welcome to summer! Summer starts Monday, June 20th and if you're like me, you sincerely thank God for summer. What could be better than sitting in the shade of a tree, cool drink, gentle breeze, and the Word of God to study? I've never sat under a fig tree. but if it's anything like my linden tree out back Nathanael was a lucky man, and I can't wait for work to be over so I can go outside and enjoy the warmth of the afternoon.

And a happy Fathers Day to all of you fathers and sons out there. For me, this is my first Fathers Day without an earthly father, but I'm relieved to know he was saved before he passed away and is now with my Heavenly Father

    "Lesbian couple accuses church of discrimination for not blessing their marriage." Yes, it is discrimination ... discrimination between the false and the true, just as their complaint is discrimination ... discrimination between what they want and what the church will do.

    You're right; not a surprise. In fact, coming soon to a church near you (and me), I'd guess.

      My take was that a "Church" that knowingly has a biblically unqualified pastor suddenly is discerning enough to turn away a homosexual union? They kicked the door open by hiring a pastorette, why stop there?
