About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

Emergent Monday: The Porpoise Driven Life

For all our smarts, people aren't very bright. Look at the popularity of shows like Ancient Aliens - these people are making a fortune off of the gullibility of their audience. These shows are based on little more than exaggerations, baseless speculation, and outright lies. You would think that an educated society would know better than to fall for the nonsense of the alien addicts.

You would also think that a Christian society would know better than to fall for scam artists and false teachers (Romans 16:17). We're told to research the scriptures to make sure our teachers are being honest with us (Acts 17:10-11), we're warned to keep watch for those who would take advantage of our good hearts and naiveté (Matthew 7:15-23), and we're told to test everything to insure what we are being told is from God (1 John 4:1).

So why do our brothers and sisters fall for fads and scams and false teachers? Harold Camping, Jim Wallis, Tony Campolo, Rob Bell, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, and so many more. They've even made up their own heretical version of the bible and the goats are using it in Christ's church! They're all ravenous wolves and people are practically jumping down their throats to be consumed.

It seems like Christians are aching for something other than God to believe in. They want something like God flavored candy to stimulate themselves. They believe in heavenly tourism even though the accounts they swallow whole conflicts with what the bibles they carry say about heaven. They wait in breathless anticipation of the hyperventilated horrors foretold by the 'four blood moons' and the false prophet that lines his pockets with their hard earned money. People who should know better snatch The Harbinger and The Mystery of Shemitah off the bookshelves ignoring warnings of false teachers.

Considering the desire some people have to fill their heads with utter heretical nonsense I honestly believe that if someone wrote this, it would be come a best seller in the Christian community:

News flash people:
A big scary giant asteroid did not destroy the earth on September 15th
The military did not take over the entire United States with Jade Helm 15  (Don't get me started on the box cars with shackles nonsense!)
I'm even going out on a limb and say that the blood moons will not predict nor cause a massive earthquake.

Trust in the Lord, that's what our faith is all about. Be the Berean, research God's word especially when reading books marketed toward the Christian community. Our salvation does not depend on peripheral beliefs, Jesus doesn't care what you think about tithing, or what pastor you favor the most, or when you believe He is coming for us.

Yes, once you are saved you're always saved, but what if you think you're saved based on the teachings of a ravenous wolf in a really nice sheep suit? God dealt with people who used His word for their gain before, and He will do it again.
26‘For wicked men are found among My people,
They watch like fowlers lying in wait;
They set a trap,
They catch men.
27 ‘Like a cage full of birds,
So their houses are full of deceit;
Therefore they have become great and rich.
28 ‘They are fat, they are sleek,
They also excel in deeds of wickedness;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the orphan, that they may prosper;
And they do not defend the rights of the poor.
29 Shall I not punish these people?’ declares the Lord,
‘On a nation such as this
Shall I not avenge Myself?’
30 “An appalling and horrible thing
Has happened in the land:
31 The prophets prophesy falsely,
And the priests rule on their own authority;
And My people love it so!
But what will you do at the end of it? (Jeremiah 5:26-31)

  1. Amen! Hey brother, I'm writing a book (actually the research, exegesis stage) about heaven so as to refute these heretical "went to heaven and back" books that the goats just love. When I get it completed I will send you a copy for constructive criticism purposes. I loved your article. God bless you.
