Ecumenical Monday: NAR + LDS = BOTE?

1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. (2 Peter 2:1-3)

There are so many wolves wearing sheep-suits now that just the prospect of going 'church shopping' while on a trip or vacation terrifies me. Heresy abounds out there, and I'm just not talking about the "Biblical but unethical" people like David Jeremiah, or the "misinterpretation for fun and profit" types like John Hagee, but the full blown unscriptural sheep fleecing that the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and Latter Day Saints (LDS) provides. And now, thanks to Chuck Pierce and Glenn Beck that dream team of NAR + LDS has come to life.

On March 22, 2015 Chuck Pierce, a "prophet" in the New Apostolic Reformation  presented a Glenn Beck, Mormon Apostle with "a new mantle for the future" and compared Beck to Cyrus, the Persian king who allowed Jews to return to Israel and rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Chuck Pierce said:

Glenn Beck, like Cyrus has a voice to change this nation. Cyrus had God's mantle to do so. Mr. Beck also has a mantle now that can be used to spread a new fire in this land. He has a heart to see our nation continue to embrace Israel. That is our common ground. If he continues to embrace the God of Israel, then he will eventually know His fullness. (source)

Anyone would who is knowledgeable in the NAR's kabbalah/gnostic mysticism knows what is meant by presenting someone with a mantle, it is symbolically identifying another prophet. Biblically however it means to identify someone as a servant and a successor:

19 So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, while he was plowing with twelve pairs of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth. And Elijah passed over to him and threw his mantle on him. 20 He left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?” 21 So he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen and sacrificed them and boiled their flesh with the implements of the oxen, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah and ministered to him. (1 Kings 19:19-21)

It doesn't seem to bother Chuck that the successor he chose is a non-Christian, and scarier than that, it doesn't seem to bother his followers either:

Who cares if Glenn is mormon? You know the Global Spheres team, you know they hear from the Lord. Lets celebrate the Jesus we see in the love extended. The Lord can manage this situation. Don't be drawn into petty details. (Kristin Stocking via Facebook)

I'm not quite sure if this will knock you off your spiritual cloud Kristin, but God speaks to everyone, not just NAR "Prophets". Unlike the secret messages he slips to NAR "Prophets", when He speaks to me, He made very sure to have someone write it down first and make it accessible to everyone. God speaks of "petty details" slightly differently than Kristin Stocking does:

14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. (2 Corinthians 6:14-17)

Glenn Beck may be entertaining (if you can put up with his cyclical bouts of paranoia and hypochondria) and possibly worth listening to politically, unless you exist in Reality. But theologically he's an LDS trained train wreck. Consider the living embodiment of unjustified paranoia's very own version of salvation he uttered when in Jerusalem in 2011 (emphasis mine):

"This place, so modest, so small, is where God chose to first reveal himself to mankind, and God fills it with his majesty. For as long as man has known God, he has come here to Jerusalem to touch the mantle of the Divine. Three faiths, three paths to God, and while the paths sometimes take us away from each other, they always return here, to Jerusalem." (source)

That particular statement shows how far off from John 14:6 Mr. Beck is. "Three paths to God" is not Christian, Jewish, or Islamic in origin, it's Hindu. Their three paths to God are Jnana yoga the path of study, Karma yoga the path of action, and Bhakti yoga the path of devotion. (really hope pointing out this information saves someone from falling for the heresy of "Christian" yoga). In an act of Prophetic Apostolic Backpedaling, Chuck Pierce explains his presentation of a 'prophetic mantle' to Mormon Glenn Beck thusly:

Let me address this post. Glenn Beck is devoted to Israel. The mantle was given from Israel. Many Jews have never had salvation experiences.

Is Chuck telling us this entire living example of being unevenly yoked is the Jews fault? Sounds like it to me, but in reality it's all political gamesmanship. Glenn Beck supports Ted Cruz who is running for president. Ted's father, Raphael Cruz, is a  minister and a very strong NAR advocate. The NAR would love a president they have their claws sunk into to push their odd Dominion theology.  Dominion Theology is:

... the idea that Christians should work toward either a nation governed by Christians or one governed by a conservative Christian understanding of biblical law. At least under this name, it exists primarily among non-mainstream Protestants in the United States. It is a form of theocracy and is related to theonomy, though it does not necessarily advocate Mosaic law as the basis of government. Prominent adherents of Dominion Theology are otherwise theologically diverse, including the Calvinist Christian Reconstructionism and the charismatic/Pentecostal Kingdom Now theology and New Apostolic Reformation. To me it means faux-Christian sharia law. There is no place in Christianity for controlling the government, and a true believer knows that, instead we are to be in subjection to governing authorities. We pray that our elected representatives conduct themselves with proper Christian morals but that seems to be a rarity lately. Nowhere does it say that we are to BE the governing authorities. Theocracy of any sort terrifies me, be it Islamic, Hindu, Pagan, Atheist, or Faux Christianity. And no, don't even go there. History tells us that theocracy by Christians devolves into a Faux Christian murderous rampage commonly called the inquisition. Absolute power always corrupts absolutely.

This is what Ecumenicism is attempting, bringing together Christians In Name Only into a large Juggernaut to control. Control what? Doesn't matter: control the government, control the religion, control the population...

Which is why I personally think that NAR + LDS = BOTE (Beginning Of The End)
