Random Bits

"I walk through this sinful world as a
pilgrim in a foreign country" - CH Spurgeon
I have been feeling a call lately to help free our brothers and sisters in Christ from the bondage of the modern day Pharisees of the Roman Catholic church. I've published a blog entry this week and have more planned. It appears that Glenn Chatfield is feeling the same call (but he missed another easy indulgence - if you follow Mr. Pope on Twitter you get an indulgence). So is Triablogue who realizes that the Roman Catholic church is simply making stuff up to justify their practices. (Anyone who reads the catechism or the Council of Trent will realize the truth of this)

I've mentioned before that sometimes I get the impression that the Holy Spirit needs something broadcast and He occasionally uses us bloggers. This seems to be the case right now with the Roman Catholic Church. If you feel the call to rescue someone from the bondage of legalistic heresy, any legalistic heresy, take it from me a recovering Catholic, the beauty and peace of God's word is what it takes. Put the "bug" in their ear about the truth of salvation by grace through faith and let the Holy Spirit do His thing. No need to flog them with Colossians 2:8.

Minnesota "faith" leaders are now openly violating US immigration laws, they are intent on violating Romans 13:1-2. I looked at the director of this movement's twitter page and her tweets contain no theology, but 100% anti-Trump propaganda. (If you look at this link you'll also see that it's cold in Manitoba. In other news; scientists have discovered that water is wet) I had a twitter conversation with Doran Schrantz, she appears to be very nice but she use bible verses horrifically out of context to justify violating federal law and she's very upset about the "Russian hacking of the election" which turned out to be fake news. I said to her "I find it ironic that someone who is so upset about cyber security makes their money penetrating border security" She hasn't responded

Bomb threats were called in to at least 16 Jewish Community Centers in 7 states, hundreds were evacuated. At the same time threats were called in to several Jewish schools in Britain. No explosives were found.

This week on Twitter I made a joke about the first full moon of the year, the prime number year and @PastorJohnHagee missing a book opportunity. Oooops. I suppose when you read about these end of world people a lot it tends to get predictable

I've mentioned this before, now it's official

A celebrity pastor in Brazil who claims to perform miracles that heal cancer and restore sight to the blind was stabbed in the neck and back by a congregant

Religion of Peace Update #1 - Daesh forced children, practically babies, to kill prisoners by shooting and beheading. Then they proudly release a video tape

Religion of Peace Update #2 - Thousands of Muslims are turning to Jesus Christ and what they view as the "religion of freedom" Praise The Lord!

Religion of Peace Update #3 - Irony - it's so ironic.

Religion of Peace Update #4 - Islamic hate group CAIR demanded that Franklin Graham should be removed from Donald Trump's inauguration line up. I've never been a Trump fan, but you can judge a man by his enemies. I'm starting to like the guy.

A passage from the Koran which specifically denies that Jesus was the Son of God and says He should not be worshipped was sung during a Eucharist service at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow to mark the feast of the Epiphany

Charisma News confuses me because it's Real News from a Fake Religion, but sometimes I can't ignore it. Here they're celebrating the epitome of  why we watchbloggers exist. (Thank you Eternity Matters for making my Thursday the 4th Monday of the week) 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 anyone?

This is what happens when a movie actor begins to believe his own nonsense

Gaystapo update - Ellen DeGeneres has kicked Kim Burrell  pastix of Love & Liberty Fellowship Pentecostal Church in Houston, Texas off her show for preaching a sermon that tells the biblical truth about homosexuality. There are Christians who are publicly support Kim, but not enough

Addressing Islamophobia... is it burying Islamic terrorism under tons of hyperbole or is it just good old fashioned ecuminism?

I'm sure Pastor Paratus will agree - the only Christian in this story is dead

Is your Christian testimony fatal? It could be, I saw it on the internet!

  1. Actually, I DIDN'T miss that twitter indulgence. I noted it in my 7/23/13 "RAAH" post. Here is my paragraph (sans the links):
Speaking of the Pope, he is now offering indulgences to reduce time spent in purgatory if you will just follow him on Twitter! Yes, the heretical idea of purgatory, and the heretical idea that one can earn their way out of such a non-existent place simply by following the Pope’s “tweets,” is again demonstrating that the Roman Catholic Church is NOT a Christian organization. IF purgatory was real, does it make sense that God would lessen one’s time there just because they followed the pope’s “tweets”?!?! If you think purgatory is real, and that indulgences are biblical and beneficial, I invite you to read my article on the subject.

"Faith leaders" violating the law. Well, when one looks at who these people are, it is easy to see why they violate the Law of Christ by violating the law of the land: they are members of apostate and/or heretical churches. Go figure.

Thank you for continuing to demonstrate the real face of Islam -- that face that the media and the LEFT don't want us to see.

Fuller seminary is about as apostate as you can get.

    1. Sorry for forgetting about your article back then, I jumped on this easy indulgence also back then. I don't know if it angers me or amuses me that if you follow Mr. Pope on Twitter you get a free pass from a punishment that doesn't exist.

    2. Just about anything which comes out of the pope's mouth angers me.
