About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

God Heals All Wounds

Sometimes things happen, we're imperfect creatures in an imperfect world and the good times cannot last forever. Something bad will happen. Why? I don't know, but having been in this world as long has I have been it's a guaranteed fact that three good days in a row is a blessing we should be eternally thankful for, because that really really beats the averages.

So often we're left to wonder "Why do bad things happen to good people" when we as Christians know for a fact that no one is good other than God, we see that in Matthew 19:17 and Romans 3:10. However even in the bible we see this question being raised, Solomon writing in Ecclesiastes 8:14 brought up this subject, why does it seem that the righteous suffer while the evil get away with evil.

Can we blame Satan for all of our pains and woes? You could, but what good would that do? We're still imperfect creatures in an imperfect world. It's what we do with our pain and our needs that counts. Lucky for us our creator is perfect and knows our pain and wants to help us, John 6:44 tells us that God is trying to draw us closer to Him and we should let ourselves be drawn to Him and let his love heal us:
19 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble;
He saved them out of their distresses.
20 He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.
21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness,
And for His wonders to the sons of men! (Psalm 107:19-21)

Why do Atheists Hate Jesus?

Atheists can say the nuttiest things, and sadly most of it comes from ignorance. Much of their hate is misdirected irrational hate that most likely comes from a deep seated self-loathing. Some of it comes from arrogance and pride and a deep seated belief in the infallibility of man (in particular themselves), and other times it's a deep seated need to be offended.

But the vast majority comes from complete ignorance of what they're complaining about. I'll list a few examples and you tell me if I'm wrong.

1. Jesus is a bigot because of Matthew 10:5-6 and Matthew 15:24.

If the complainant had actually read Matthew he would know that in Matthew 10:5-6 Jesus was sending his disciples out on their first evangelical mission, he wanted them to deal with familiar people in a familiar setting. You don't send a novice evangelical out against Bill Mahr and Rosie O'Donnell on their first outing. In Matthew 15:24 Jesus was testing this woman's faith and using it as an example for his disciples. Had the complainant actually read Matthew 15 and assessed it spiritually he would have seen that. Maybe.

Pope as Bond Villain

Not The Pope
Whoo hoo! We got a new pope, and the whole world goes crazy. My church got a new pastor a while ago and the world didn't say a thing, not even mentioning the huge difference between Pastor Brimstone and  pope Francis,  (which is the fact that Pastor Brimstone has read the bible and follows it) Pope Francis looks a lot like one of my favorite Bond Villains  Elliot Carver. (Ok, he's not a great Bond villain but Tomorrow Never Dies had my favorite Bond girl, Michelle Yoeh). But what is the pope?

Simply stated the pope is the Roman catholic bishop of Rome whose office decided that Rome wasn't big enough. The term Pope comes from the Greek πάππας which means "Father" which is a familiar form of address  that is specifically forbidden by Jesus Christ Himself as recorded in Matthew 23:9

Top 10 Countries That Love To Kill Christians

Here's a top 10 list of the countries that have made the persecution of people for their Christian faith a state goal. From worldwatchlist.us:

10. Eritrea - This tiny country on the horn of Africa has banned any religion that is not   Orthodox, Catholic, Lutheran or Islam. Any persons caught practicing a form of religion that falls outside of these will be arrested, locked in military prison camps and held in shipping containers. Nearly a third of captured Christians die in captivity.

9. Yemen - There is some religious freedom for foreigners  and a few government permitted churches for the Christians of the city of Aden, but other than that no church buildings are allowed. Evangelism and conversion is forbidden and Yemenis who leave Islam will be executed.

8. Iran - Bible training and publishing Scriptures in Farsi are illegal, the government monitors all Christian activities, especially meetings in private homes. Native Iranian Christians are being forced to flee the country. Muslims who leave Islam face the death penalty.

And so the end begins...

The liberal utopia has taken over and to prove it they have chosen to target you, the Christian for their police state harassment.

So they want to watch us, big deal, maybe they'll learn how to treat people decently. Of course it won't stop there, but then, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at a prison ministry

TOP OF THE WORLD MA!!!!
