I used to be a pre-trib Raptu...I am with you Doug. I used to be a pre-trib Rapture person when I was first saved, but that is what I was taught. Then while I was in a very controlling abusive church I believed in a mid or post trib rapture - I guess that figures. Over the last ten years, I have tried to understand all the arguments for each side, and I am still confused.<br /><br />I would love to be part of the pre-trib Rapture. I really hope I don't have to go through the tribulation or have to be killed for my faith because I don't know how I would do that. I hate pain. On the other hand, I know that whatever happens, God will be with me regardless of what I have to live through.<br /><br />In the end I think, if we can hold to our faith in Jesus Christ now while the whole world is going mad and people hate Christians who stand for the truth of the gospel, then whatever does happen, we will be in the right place. <br /><br />Most prophecy doesn't make sense until after it happens. Even the Jews didn't get it right with Jesus appearance. They figured nothing good could come out of Nazareth. Says a lot really.
