Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

WWUTT Wednesday - What Am I Doing Here

Oh no! I've missed the Rapture AGAIN!!! This is downright discouraging. Ok, I wasn't around when the Jehovah's Witnesses scheduled the rapture for October 1914, but I graduated High School in 1975 so I would have noticed if there were a rapture in 1975 that the JWs promised. 

In his 1979 book End Times Chuck Smith promised right there on pages 35 & 36: "I believe the Lord could come back for his church anytime before the tribulation starts, which would mean anytime before 1981" I was stationed in North Dakota then, and a nice warm rapture would have come in pretty handy in our -25° temperatures. 

Then of course there was Harold Camping who promised us a Rapture in September 6,1994... I mean May 21, 2011... I mean October 21, 2011...
