About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

"I walk through this sinful world as a
pilgrim in a foreign country" - CH Spurgeon
It's been a long and interesting week full of ups and downs. My bride and I rescued a dog from the Denver dog pound and this week was her visit to the Vet - she turned out to be the healthiest dog we have which says a LOT for the care she received at the Denver dog shelter. We now have two cocker spaniels (an English and an American cocker) named Gibbs and Abbie. Even though I'm a fan of NCIS I didn't name them, they came equipped with those names. I like the way that worked out, but my bride isn't happy that I've started calling her ancient retriever "Ducky"

Then I found that one of my blog entries was discovered by Marsha West and reposted at bereanresearch.org which was very cool.

But then we got the moisture that we in Colorado have been praying for - in the form of snow. Snow is an awesome way to get moisture, a savvy farmer/rancher can trap it as it blows across the prairie with snow fencing and wind rows. However in a city like Denver full of economic (and weed) immigrants from places like Texas and California who are poor drivers in the best of times, two feet of wet heavy snow is a trial. It was really ugly for a day, 2 wheel drive vehicles were banned from the metro area, the airport was closed, schools closed, I-70 was closed due to stuck vehicles but Praise the Lord there were no storm fatalities, We're expecting more snow this weekend which is going to cancel a lot of sunrise services on Easter morning, but you know what? The sun rises every day - we can praise and worship the Lord by the light of the rising sun 279 more times this year.

YAY! The Georgia Religious Liberty Bill has been passed by the Georgia legislature and now goes to Gov. Nathan Deal to sign into law. The bill protects pastors so they could not be forced to perform a same-sex wedding ceremony.

BOO! The NFL threatens to deny the city of Atlanta the opportunity to host Super Bowl games because they don't like the Georgia Religious Liberty Bill. Apparently the NFL policies that emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness do not include tolerance and inclusiveness for Christians. (BTW, the picture in this article is a reminder that Rick Joyner is a false prophet)

BOOO! Disney/Marvel Studios is now threatening to boycott Georgia because they don't like the Georgia Religious Liberty Bill. Like Proposition 8 in California the gaystapo has decided to override the will of the people with their own selfish desires

Speaking of selfish desires and Disney - ABC's big budget anti-God series "Of Gods And Prophets" - a story of sex and violence marketed as a biblical epic... or maybe a bible flavored "Game of Thrones" without a dragon -  was pulled off the air by ABC after two episodes when advertisers actually looked at what they were sponsoring and pulled their money. ABC is owned by anti-christian Disney.

And while we're talking about Selfish Desires - this "gender identity" nonsense MUST STOP. We're killing our children in the name of being "tolerant" (hat tip to Eternity Matters)

One last mention of Selfish Desires - North Carolina had to pass a law that requires men to use men's rooms and women to use the women's rooms. Yes, it has come to that.

Keith Mascord writes a rambling, self aggrandizing missive on the sin of homophobia. A sin which he claims is caused by the bible (and yes, he uses that old atheist fabrication: "As a Christian I believe...")

The Delta County School District (DCSD) has approved the circulation of atheistic, secular and Satanic literature to middle and high school students. Some of the brochures to be offered to students include “Top 10 Public School State-Church Violations and How to Stop Them,” “What’s Wrong with the Ten Commandments?” and “The Satanic Children’s Big Book of Activities.”

Glenn Beck - pagan expert on Christianity (facepalm) knows who God wants you to vote for

Pastor Robert Jeffress schools Glenn Beck on God and Politics

Religion of Peace Update #1 - There were 452 suicide attacks in 2015, guess how many were committed by Muslims.

Religion of Peace Update #2 - Four Wycliffe Associates bible translators were brutally murdered by Muslim thugs. Pray for the injured from this brutal attack, but pray for the attackers too,  "Pray the Lord will open their eyes to what they have done. Please ask the Lord to meet them, each one, right where they are. Pray that He will show Himself merciful, that they will know His forgiveness, His love, and His peace."

Religion of Peace Update #3 - The war on Christians is global, 200 million Christians in the world today are daily at risk of physical assault, arrest, imprisonment, torture or death.

Religion of Peace Update #4 - Muslim gunmen entered a Catholic nursing home in Yemen and slaughtered 16 people  including 4 nuns and kidnapped a priest. It is feared that The priest, Tom Uzhunnalil, will be executed by crucifixion today on Good Friday.

False Teacher, Bad Shepherd Mark Driscoll has made good on his vow to return to the pulpit using Resurrection Sunday to resurrect his career. Will he return to his pattern of  bullying, plagiarism, emotional abuse, manipulation, and racketeering? Pray for his new congregation that they don't suffer under Proverbs 26:11

On Easter the Christian mind should be laser focused on the Resurrection of Christ, His atonement, our justification, and the glorious promise of Salvation fulfilled. Not at Relevant church! They go where Christians shouldn't go, and they take marshmallow bunnies with them

The great falling away is gaining steam. And even though more and more Americans are turning their backs on God, most still think they're going to heaven.

Just as a group of volunteers from Whittier Christian High School were arriving at the Brussels international airport Tuesday, they heard the bombs go off

Thank you Hobby Lobby for running this full page add in newspapers proclaiming the Gospel to the world

  1. I saw your article at Berean Research — great! I was fortunate enough to have one of my articles re-posted tree several weeks ago.

The NFL and Disney just prove there is no tolerance for Christian beliefs among the LEFT. They demand tolerance but give none.

Keith Mascord just demonstrates his ignorance of the Bible the same way the rest of the LEFT does. They made up that word “homophobia” as a label for anyone who refuses to accept the homosexual agenda, because name-calling is all they have — and they know that most people are cowards who are afraid to be called a name!

The Delta County School District is just another example as to why anyone with any common sense should leave the government institutions.

By his support of Trump, Jeffress has sold himself to the highest bidder. What a disgrace!

Let’s see, heaven is real but God isn’t? That makes absolutely no sense!

    1. I really don't care who Jeffress supports, as far as I'm concerned this election cycle offers nothing for a Christian conservative. What I disdain is Glenn Beck telling me what my God thinks based on his background in Mormon fiction.

And of course the fiction that there is no God but everyone is going to heaven must come from the God of the Air and his minions like Rob Bell and Oprah Winfrey.

    2. My problem with Jeffress, as with so many Christians, is that they are willing to put a man like Trump in office when he is not a whole lot better than any Demokrat. And yes, it is disgusting for a cult member to tell me that his god has decided who to put in office.

  2. Hi Doug,

The problems with Disney seem to go back farther in time - much farther. My wife and I started watching the 1940 version of Fantasia. Supposed to be this wonderful movie about classical music interpreted by animation, right? Well one doesn't have to watch much before seeing a complete anti-Christian worldview not only in some of the pieces chosen, but also in the artistic choices and the introductory comments. The thing is a frontal attack. The Christians in the 1940 audiences must have been appalled.
