About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

"I walk through this sinful world as a
pilgrim in a foreign country" - CH Spurgeon
Sometimes being a watchblogger is just too easy. To be honest, much of the time the writing can be pretty difficult. A concept, verse, or situation will arise that takes hours of research, prayer, and introspection to bang out a few hundred words. I've found that my personal spiritual paradigms crumble to dust on more than one occasion as I dig deeper into God's word. I can't even imagine what Pastor Paratus has to do to flesh out his weekly sermon up to 30 minutes (wink).

I have had articles sit in the draft stage for months until finally one day it happens - and it can only be the Holy Spirit - an insight occurs, or I realize that the direction must change, and suddenly it all makes sense and a complete article is staring at me from the screen.  This post is a shining example of that.

But like I said, sometimes it's just too easy. Take the Mr. Trump - Mr Pope dust up. Mr. Pope says Mr. Trump is not a Christian. Mr. Trump says that no religious leader should have the right to question another man’s faith. People with discernment watch their pitiful exchange and realize that the end is near. I mean seriously - no religious leader should have the right to question another man’s faith? Donnie, ever hear of 1 Corinthians 5:12? Mr. Trump claims to collect bibles, but I haven't seem much evidence that he reads them.

Meanwhile Mr. Pope calls Mr. Trump "not a christian" for wanting to build a border wall. Odd words for someone who lives in a country that is completely surrounded by border walls. This is a country that has only 450 citizens and has the strictest immigration policies on earth. In fact being born in this country does not grant citizenship in Vatican City (Mr. Pope's country) only an appointment from the King of Vatican City can grant citizenship and approve or deny immigration applications. And by the way, the King of Vatican City is none other than Mr. Pope himself. You just can't make this stuff up! So for me the whole kerfuffle is like watching a fight between Lex Luthor and The Joker - I want to watch both loose.

Celibacy isn't chastity, so the pope had a girlfriend.

Joel Osteen's Counterfeit Gospel (artificially sweetened with sacrilege)

Do you celebrate Lent? Why?

Is it permissible for Christians to use profanity? Does refraining from the use of expletives have anything to do with being set apart for Christ? "Christian" rapper Andy Mineo thinks a mouth full of obscenities is just peachy.

I have no idea what to think about this, other than revulsion

I've written about Ronald L. Dart in the past, mostly concentrating on his false teaching, but he's gone now. Isn't it odd that a staunch Sabbath keeper would pass away on a Sabbath causing those around him to break the Sabbath to care for his body?

Religion of Peace Update #1 - ISIS Muslims capture and rape four women, then stone the women to death for adultery.

Religion of Peace Update #2 - Pakistani Christian told he can only work as a sweeper because of his religion

Religion of Peace Update #3 - Palestinian leader gives wife-beating tips on Gaza TV

Religion of Peace Update #4 - a Christian woman, mother of three, who was kidnapped, raped, forced to marry a Muslim, has escaped and is reunited with her family.

Eighteen people are now suing  the Institute in Basic Life Principles, and the founder Bill Gothard for sexual harassment. The charges include groping minors, rape, and homosexual molestation.

Looks like someone is running for the False Teacher of the Year Award and it's only February. 1 John 2:19 definately applies in this situation

Is attending church necessary for Christians? If you have to ask that you're either not a Christian, or you're in the wrong church.

The Pastor Protection Act (HB 757) a law that protects pastors from being forced to perform marriage ceremonies in violation of their legal right to free religion (gay marriage and whatever comes up next) has unanimously passed the Georgia house and was reviewed favorably by the Georgia senate committee.

Justin Welby, the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury (that's kind of like a British Pope), has come out in favor of Sin and threatens "consequences" for those who oppose his views.

So sad, but now Hope has hope

  1. Throughout history the popes have proclaimed "celibacy" while using mistresses and siring children. They have an odd understanding of what celibacy means.

I have to say that the pope is no more of a Christian than is Donald Trump; both have proven by their stated beliefs that neither one understands the Gospel or much else about the Bible.

The governor of Utah is evil; that's all there is to it.

As for foul language from Christians, I've written about that in the past:

Ronald Dart - oh the irony!

Muslims do what Muslims do - no surprises there.

I've been following the Gothard fiasco, and have been pleased to see how many women are now coming forward to expose him for what he really is.

I've read about Chalke in the past but never posted on him; I guess it's time to do so.

Attending "church" is NOT necessary for Christians. We are only told to not neglect assembling with other Christians. "Church" is not a building under and organizational head. Church is a gathering of believers for corporate worship, mutual edification, etc, even it if its only a few people.

The link about the Archbishop doesn't work, by the way :)
