About

Per Fidem Intrepidus means "Fearless Through Faith". My courage isn't my own, it comes from the Holy Spirit, it's my faith in God and my personal savior Christ Jesus that calms my fears and allows me to move forward in this fallen world. Personally I'm afraid of a lot of stuff, but having the faith that Jesus adopted me as his little, sin filled, brother keeps me going.

The Tyranny of the Minority

Imagine that you show up to church one Sunday, after a vacation or something like that, and find that things have changed. You go to a small church, maybe 200 regularly in attendance at most, a nice Christian church that believes in the bible, the reformation, and is pretty conservative.

When you show up after your absence you see that the candles have been replaced with lava lamps, the pianist has been replaced with a jukebox that plays nothing but disco music, the pastor now wears a kilt and a turban, the only message that is taught is gnostic gnonsense exclusively, and communion is now Doritos and Pepsi served while the pastor reads from The Hobbit.

A little investigation reveals that all of this was done because two couples in the church demanded it, and the rest of the congregation allowed it to happen. In shock you demand to know what is going on but the moment you ask you come under attack; you're a hater, you're intolerant, you should be thrown out of the congregation and fired from your job because you like the biblical God-centered standard that your church once held to dearly. A lawyer is hired to destroy your livelihood and savings account.

Brothers and sisters, this is not far from reality, a tyrannical minority is ransacking nations and institutions in their zeal to control everything they possibly can. And yes, it's a very very small minority. We are lead by an agenda driven news media to believe that the gay population is a sizeable segment of our population, which is far removed from the truth.

In a recent government survey conducted by the CDC, among all U.S. adults aged 18 and over, 96.6% identified as straight, only 1.6% identified as gay or lesbian, and 0.7% identified as bisexual. Several other surveys come up with similar numbers. This tiny minority of 2.3% and their political enablers is upending tradition and life as we know it. I don't have statistics to prove it but from empirical experience I know that most gays just want to have a life, they don't want to tear down anything, and they too are victims of a tyrannical minority. They're being used to advance a far-left socialist agenda by a vocal minority of a minority.

My silly illustration is not that far off the mark in which four agitators have torn up their church to suit their needs while trampling on the desires of the vast majority who weakly followed. What is happening in America is exactly the same; courts are overturning the will of the people to quell the shrieks of a few who are in the minority of a minority.

We as Christians knew this was going to happen:
24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. (Romans 1:24-32)
We know that our churches are going to fade into apostasy and chaos:
Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
and
1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron (1 Timothy 4:1-2)
and
9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. (Matthew 24:9-13)
and
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was. (2 Timothy 2:1-9)
So what do we do? As Christians we are not called to hate, and there are more sins than homosexuality, like Pride for instance, Pride is the only sin that God has come out and says He hates. So we repent and beg forgiveness for our own myriad of sins, we mourn the fall of man, we look forward sadly to our tribulation at their hands and rejoice in knowing that we are seeing all of Gods prophesy coming true.

  1. Great analogy for those who don't seem to understand the problem.
